Some Selected Comments and Questions

(I do NOT work for nor am I affiliated with McDonald's or the contest.  My comments are my own.  The accuracy of my answers are based on my own observations, they may not be correct.)

Do I have a story to tell. I took my son's little
league team to McDonald's, and surprisingly, every extra value meal had a fries package with both Park Place and Boardwalk. So, the first thing I have done, before retaining legal counsel, and accountant, and considering my future financial situation was to log on to the net and tell you and the world that "I have over 20 million dollars coming to me, and the first thing I choose to do was brag just to make it clear that I really have the money". So, now that thousands of people I don't
know, and likely will never met can think of me and my winnings in awe because I am just that shallow that impressing strangers is almost worth more than the game pieces of just the outfield. Thank you.  David p.s. Please don't include my e-mail address if you quote me, or else I'll have to buy you, and then sell you again for scrap.
Please... NOT scrap!  Thanks for laugh..... oh wait, your serious.  ;-)  Are you related to Guido? cheril

i went to my mcdonalds today and order 3 super fries for my game pieces and  when i got home no game pieces. mad yes i wanted to notify mcdonalds corp. but they  don't care. called the store and the employes had peeled all the games pieces
because they were told to by the owner. i thought the game was while supply last  because not all prizes have not been won. very upset see
if you can do anything about this because they don't want to know that i can really do some
serious damage to the mcdonalds rep. - Lynnatt
Sorry, I am not affiliated at all with McDonalds.  You could complain to the McDonalds home office. cheril

Hey can I get a boardwalk.....just kidding. I can't
believe how idiotic some of these folks are...Scott G.
:-) cheril

It seems all the pieces are rare at some of the
McDonald's. I have been to three different McDonald's and they are out of FF boxes or Large Coke's. I ask about the game pieces and I am
told "Sorry we are out of those boxes and we
do not have extra pieces to give out." I
started playing the game and I have several pieces but I have to drive out of my way  to get them and I think I have made my last trip to McDonald's. I
think if you are going to advertise a game, then you
should have the game pieces or at least extra ones you can hand out. McDonald's may not miss my money but I have heard a lot  of complaints, and we often send someone down to pick up lunch for a
group of workers, but the Dairy Queen is just as close and they always have what they advertise and the food is just as good. Beverly B.
Guess you missed the part above, where I state, I am not affiliated in any way, shape or form with McDonalds. I just provide this website for players of the game each year. cheril

I think that it is a ripoff that McDonald's only gives out game pieces on select products instead of every product purchased. They only put game pieces on fries, drinks and hash browns which are their most profitable food items. For a game
that is supposed to be no purchase necessary, you not only have to make a purchase but a select purchase. If you think about it you must spend at least $1.00 on each of the select products to get 2 game pieces and the odds of winning are
approximately 1 in 50,000,000. You would be better off buying a lottery ticket where the chance of winning, at least in Illinois, is 1:13,000,000 and the prizes are much greater. I know that the game is fun to play and your website is a great idea
but the game isn't fair. - Denise S.
Life isn't fair. :-)   Besides, you can't eat a lottery ticket. cheril

I noticed that North Carolina has a fairly low tally on
your list, and its the only stamp (other than the rare ones) that I don't have at least 1 of. Is it a semi-rare one? Why would they do that?
( I think I mistyped, should be corrected now- cheril)  Also, I've occasionally seen people throw away fry containers without
checking the stamps (I stop them and take the stamps when I can).  What would happen if someone threw away a Boardwalk? Does McDonalds have a contingency plan if Boardwalk doesn't turn up? Does the manager know when the winning (Boardwalk) fry container is sold? Do they hire security guards to accompany the winning stamp *before* its sold? What is the process by which its randomly sent out to the resturaunts? (I know, lots of questions... answer the ones you
can...) ............... I'm in Canada, and I only got so many pieces because when I go to McDonalds with friends, they give me all of theirs, because they know how obsessive I get about this stuff. ;-)
Best, Daniel
Obsessive? Naw... :-)  I don't know for sure, but if someone throws away Boardwalk, it doesn't get claimed. McDonald's doesn't have to pay it. They still gets lots of folks going to McDonald's to play.  I doubt seriously the manager of the store knows which container has
Boardwalk.  Why do you say it is on the Fry's? Do you *know* something? cheril

Love the site! Perfect for guys like me who only eat at McDonalds a couple/3 times a year, one of which always seems to fall during this game time. Curiosity forces me to peel the pieces, then I
can't bear to toss them until I know they're not rare. Thanks for the service! Also, love your wit in dealing with the fruitloops who continually post the
same questions; (are some people taught how to type without being taught how to read?) Bet you're a fox, too! Anyway, thanks again and keep up the good work!  - Mark
Sorry Mark. Flatter all you want, I still don't have pieces to trade or rare pieces to give away. ;-) cheril

I was wondering. Can you get free monopoly pieces by mailing at a place? If you can, do you know the address? Can you give it to me if you know? Thank
you. Bye - Vietman
Scroll on down, you will find the answer. :-) cheril

Nice site. To be honest with everyone. I just like to peal off the peices fromt the packages. Call me silly, but it's fun. I have no hope in ever winning. However, I do have a short story. I walked around Woodstock99 picking up pieces throughout the entire event and had over 500 peices with no winners and a bunch of cheeseburgers, haha.. T. M. J. I think it is just the fun of maybe finding that elusive piece. (Yikes.. can't get serious here) :-) cheril

Hey I got Park Place anyone out there have Boardwalk? Want to join up? <LOL>  Thanks for the site. . . I'm a web developer and got a panicked/excited call from a friend asking me to put up a Web Page that people could find us to swap the "Boardwalk" piece. Thanks for your effort -- saved a lot of mine. Didn't want to be that pooch "barking up the wrong tree! - Alan S. Usually there are a few websites like that every year.  This year I haven't found any others. cheril

Cool site. I look for it every year. Someone
should put you on Oprah for this wonderful public service. :o) - April
Eeeeeeeeeek!   LOL cheril

when does the game end? - Jamila A.

Any idea when the contest will end? - Mack  The game is scheduled to end April 20, 2000, or when each McDonald's runs out of pieces.  cheril

I have <insert stamp name here>. I need <insert stamp name here>. Do you know who has it?  Do you know how I can get it? Can I buy it from someone?  Can I trade for it? - Claire, Susan R, Oneil, Denise J, Joe S, Scott, Tim N, The Gurrs, Barbara T, Bud L, Psilocke, Susanne P, TBM, Becky & German, Nana, Veronica H, Madison B, David G, and countless others. I don't have any rare pieces. (If I did I wouldn't trade or sell it) I don't know who has the rare pieces. I am not posting trading lists (see the forums for that) I won't release the email addresses of those who claim to have a rare piece. I won't act as a go between for trading. And I don't have a clue as to how many licks it takes to get to the center of a Tootsie Roll Pop!  OK!?!?  Thank you! cheril

I have a few stamps, but what are the rare stamps? - Frederick G.  Ummm, your kidding, right? cheril

....I also really enjoyed the "dubious" claims that people make regarding the big prizes...... - Tyler P. What?  You mean you don't believe them?  LOL cheril

I have the whole light blue series and I was wondering if you knew a place where I could buy a Vermont piece because I most have wasted $150 trying to get it. - Sirus Oh come on, you can't fool me. If you had the whole light blue series, you wouldn't still be looking for  Vermont..sheesh!  cheril

Is Ventor Ave. hard to find and do you know anybody that has it. - Mr. E. Yup. Nope. cheril

What is the railroad piece that is the hardest to get?  - Rachel C. ummm, would you believe it is Shortline? cheril

I lied about board walk - t b NO! Really? LOL cheril

Remember how you wanted to set up my own special comments section with SurfWatch and CyberNanny and stuff. Well, I just got the
right contribution for that. It's funny yet adult yet still okay to show on a normal page IMNTBHO. 8)
It is just a suggestion how to get extra fries and with that extra stamps of course! Yes! See for your self. It's really easy to do!  - Guido
Geez Guido!...thanks for laugh. But nope... I am not posting it. :-) cheril

I always like coming to your site to find out what the rare pieces are. I wish everyone who came to your site found out what the rare pieces were before bombarding you with requests for them. The old "I have Park Place" request just cracks me up in the comments section, even more after the 50th time someone's requested Boardwalk. Here's an
analogy: "I have an old antique bottle. I was wondering if anyone had the Louis XVI tufted antique chair to complete my collection of this era."

Or...

"I have a King James Bible. Does someone have the Dead Sea Scrolls to complete my Bible collection? I'd be happy to split any proceeds 50:50 that we make from putting this Bible collection on display."
And so on. - Randy  R.
Yea, but these people are serious.... LOL cheril

It would also be pretty neat to see who got a
preponderance of what stamps geographically. - John W.
Sounds like you have a good idea for your own website next year :-) cheril

Thanks for the great service you are providing! This has really helped teach my six year old
about long odds and being realistic. We have managed to garnish two breakfast value meals
and one cheeseburger. If you go by suggested retail price ( which I'm not sure is kosher) we are
breaking even or have saved 50 percent. - John F.
Kosher or not breaking even is cool! - cheril

Great monopoly site you have here! I get to find out if I have the right pieces without buying 200 meals at McDonald's. I'll definitely be back here next year. I don't know how long you have been following the
McDonald's game, but I thought you might be interested to know that many years ago - 1988 or 1989? the winning piece was *always* the last one in the monopoly - Baltic, Connecticut, Virginia, New York, Short Line, etc were the winning ones.... I wonder when they started changing it around? (Or maybe that year was an anomaly.) - Alex C.
Don't know when they changed it, I do know it has been this way the last 4 years. cheril

I have a $1,000,000 Park Place ticket #220 and will like for you to post this and maybe someone have the Park Place Ticket #221, that will make us WINNERS!!! - Jay J. Thousands and thousands of people have Park Place. It is *very* easy to get. cheril

As My Trader Pieces Increase I Will E-mail You An Update on What I Have To Trade And Need. Thank You Very So Much. - Joe No, No, No!  I am not posting trades here.  Please go to the forums and post that information. cheril

DOES ANYONE WANT TO BECOME MY BEST FRIEND ?? I'M TRYING TO FIND SOMEONE WHO
IS PLAYING THE MCDONALDS MONOPOLY GAME AND WANTS TO SPLIT THE CASH PRIZES.
NEED MATCHING HALVES OF SETS. COME ON, DON'T BE GREEDY LETS SHARE THE WEALTH
!!  - Msmatts.
Wow, you mean you will be my best friend if I split a cash prize with you?  I am so flattered. cheril

On your prize distributions you made a couple mistakes. According to the official rules there will be:

2 $1,000,000 winners (1 instant, 1 collection)
2 $200,000 winners (1 instant, 1 collection)
2 Prowler winners (1 instant, 1 collection)
6 PT Cruisers (3 instant, 3 collection)
50 Whirlpools (25 instant, 25 collection)
65 Vacations (32 instant, 33 collection)

The rest are the same way, almost an equal number of instant winners as there are collection winners. Just thought you might want to know. - Craig S.
If you scroll down past the collection pieces on the tally page, I have the instant winners listed separately. cheril

I find it amusing that you show 2 winning ventnors when there is only one  prize. Steven B. Yup, me too. :-) cheril

Management at the Broad Street Central Falls, RI
McDonalds has  confirmed to me that they had an INSTANT WINNER of one of the HDTV/DVD
packages. Apparently the gentleman who won thought it was the smaller TV to  be awarded in each store, but upon inspection by management they said it was the larger high value package. They supposedly gave him his envelope to send
in, and were quite excited since this was the largest
prize ever awarded in that store. Quite exciting to know that a big win was really close to home! -
Michele B.

I noticed that in all cases except for Boardwalk, the rare piece in a set is the piece that comes last in alphabetical order. So if you need a quick way to remember which piece is the big winner, it's Boardwalk plus whichever of the three (or four) pieces would be last if you put them in alphabetical order. John - Yup, been that way the last few years. :-) cheril

Once again, I find "less-enlightened folks' requests,
comments, and offers, both amusing and scary. You truly have the patience of Job in dealing with
some of those fruitcakes or should I say apple pies.
[chuckle]  --Rob
:-) cheril

As always, great site!....1. Are the rare pieces the same every year?  2. I've never had a rare major prize-winning stamp, so I was wondering if you knew if they were different than the non-rare ones (like maybe they have a special code number
on them so they couldn't be forged or something.)
That's all. Keep up the good work, Ryan -
The rares have been the same the past few years.  I think the first couple years they were different. I have seen a couple winner pieces. They were the same as the others.  I am sure there is something about them, known only to McDonalds, to which would prevent a forgery from being successful. cheril

So is it true that there is only one boardwalk? And the person on here claiming to have it, is it a
lie or do I need to stop looking for boardwalk? - Omar B.
There is only one Boardwalk collection piece available.  Since I have no proof that any of these reported Boardwalk claims are real, I would keep trying. cheril

I have Park Place... looking for holder of Boardwalk... Boardwalk holder can stipulate terms.... John M.  Stand in line.  :-) cheril

One that I can't find a place for 1 #14 his & her cheby camaro z28's???? This must be an old game piece that got mixed in??? Let me know if you heard of this one.  Thanks, Trea Yup, that is a game piece from a previous year.  cheril

I have the Park Place game piece and need the Boardwalk piece  to match and win $ 1 million for the 2000 game--any ideas on how I can meet someone who has the match---obviously to split the
prize $$! - Lisa P.
There are thousands and thousands of Park Place pieces. Only one matching Boardwalk piece is available.  How do you meet them, I don't know.  You can join the other folks in one of the above forums, and post your request. cheril

Very nice site. I have a Park Place game piece,
does one of the two reported Boardwalk holders wants to go 60-40? I assume that you have their Emails.  Regards Marc B.
I will not act as a go-between for trades.  I will not email them and ask, I will not release the email addresses.  Given that Park Place is so very easy to obtain, I doubt seriously that anyone would be willing to, or need to split the winnings. cheril

To request the games pieces do I just the SASE enevlope to the address? Do I have to send a separate request also. Do I just put one stamp on the envelope? - Marion B. Read the rules for requesting game pieces on the back of the game board, or go the McDonald's website.  Follow the directions, exactly. cheril

Hi if you have any extra game pieces for trade I will
trade with you for  anything that you have if you have Boardwalk I will give you a very nice  check for it after I redeem my prizes anything and everything extra you have  I want because me and a few of my friends are close to winning a few prizes get back to me as soon as you can thank you and have a great day and good  travels -
Bill, I have said throughout this website, I am not interested in trading. Park Place and the other non-rares are very easy to get. cheril

I am Willam and I have the stamp No 220 (Park Place) so I need No 221 (Boardwalk) to win the prize if yuo have the Number 221 get in touch with me we split the prize Well William, I don't have Boardwalk. If I did, I wouldn't need to get in touch with you, I already have a stack of Park Places. cheril

I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE HAS PENNSYLVANIA AVE.OR KENTUCKY ? - Jennifer M. I think it is safe to say, that yes, someone has or will get those pieces.  :-) cheril

Can i use American game pieces in Canada for our monopoly game? J.R. I don't know.  Sorry. cheril

Hi there.Maybe you can help me.We have the Department 56 game piece.Which
stores to you take the game piece to.I looked up the internet site tofind where to go
but didn't find the info.I needed.Thanks,Rhonda
I am unaware of a Department 56 winning piece. Any winners need to be redeemed at McDonald's, not a retail store. cheril

do you have any monopoly game pieces you would give - Duane S. nope. cheril

I love your web site, although it never ceases to amaze me that  so many people have gotten boardwalk. Wow, maybe I can get the 12th boardwalk piece. - Chad J. LOL  I would report I had the 20th one, as long as I really had the winning piece. :-)cheril

How do they release the game winning pieces and when do they do so ? Also thanks for your web page. When I say releasing I mean how do they make sure its fair? Who makes the game pieces and how do they track the piece to the customer? If there is only one game winning piece why are
people clamming  they have board walk for example? thank you for your time. - Qtncntryboy
I don't know what you mean by "fair". They place the game pieces on the food containers.  I am sure they have amazing quality control.  I don't have a clue who makes the game pieces.  They don't track them to the customer. The customer has to report the win, in accordance with the rules.  If you don't follow the reporting procedure, you won't win. Every year I get multiple claims of people having pieces, where only one is available.  Go to the message boards, there are those such claims there. You can ask them yourself. :-)cheril

how long does it take to get your 3 game pieces if i mail it out tomorrow. - Carolyn  I don't know, the rules don't state how long the processing time is. cheril

Ever get tired of answering the SAME questions?  - Doug L It is amazing that they keep sending the same questions over and over cheril

I really like your site and have been going there since 1998. Its funny to  see all the "legitimate" Boardwalk pieces out there. Good luck on the site! - Jon K As of today, I have received 4 claims of the single Boardwalk piece. Go figure :-) cheril

I recently purchased stamp 220 "Park Place" with a value meal at McDonalds. The back of the
stamp says need stamps 220 and 221 to win $1,000,000. If this is true, I am willing to deal with anyone who has Stamp 221. What should I do? - Stephen E.
Forget dealing. Go to McDonalds and try your luck. cheril

I LOVE your web site. I used to be afraid to throw away any game pieces in case they were the rare ones. Now, I can safely throw away every piece I
get. I do have a question for you: Don't you get tired of hearing from/dealing with all the idiots who claim to have Boardwalk and all the people who have Park Place and think they are half-way to a million dollars? It would drive me crazy.
Keep up the Good work. -Ed
naw, it makes it interesting. I think they are looking for their 15 minutes of fame, and email :-) cheril

I am doing the Canadian game (is there a separate web page with those pieces), .......  Also, do you know when the Canadian game ends? I am really hoping for that Million dollars. - Owen I am combining the tally, as it appears to me  to be one contest. It lasts about a month, but it is over when they run out of pieces. - cheril

We were in Canada last week and found out the game started there on March 13. Also, the game pieces say McDonald Canadian Ltd, so there is a difference.  The writing is very very tiny on the game pieces, but they do state Canada. - Ruby

How does McDonalds decide where to send the winning pieces? Is it random or some in different geographic locations? Sandra B That is the $54,000 question! (or should that be million dollar question now) :-) cheril

Tarah! The World Record Holder of Collecting the Most North Carolina Game Stamps, 1999 World Word Heavy Comments Hog Champion on your
un-official McDolopoly Page and President of the CG Fan Club and Second Runner Up of the Pageant of the Dietary Challenged has returned to claim his first one million dollars by using his weapon of choice, the Super-sized Double Quarter Pounder Value Meal with no Pickles and Extra Tomato plus Dr. P for Pepper and a winning, grease-eating grin!

Of course I start off slow with a New York and St. James, followed by a cool Pacific Avenue and a hot Oriental one. No need to hurry to the Boardwalk.
And as I can see in the Message Board, somebody found it already anyway. And he wants to share it... *mpprrrthheeeehahuahuahuaah*,
yeah right. Hey, eh, do we split 80/20 if I give you four Pork Places, or how is that?

Thanks for this great page, Cheril, the Trade Forums alone are worth the time! 8)  Guido
*tap*tap*tap*  Gee.. where have you been?  Figured you had gone off and gotten a life or something! :-) cheril

I read through a bunch of your 1999 comments. I noticed that many people that claimed to have found Boardwalk seemed barely literate. Could they be fibbing?........John B....... I always get numerous claims of having Boardwalk.  It is humorous at least.. :-) cheril

Are the free food prizes good at McDonald's in Hawaii? I have several coupons and my daughter is going to Hawaii next week, on a budget. This
might help her a bit. Relada
The rules state they are good at any participating McDonald's in the United States. If they are handing out prize pieces they should accept food winner stamps. cheril

i have the park place piece. is it the rare one? do you know where i can get boardwalk - Frank B. Park Place is the common one. To obtain Boardwalk, you go to McDonald's and buy food which have the game pieces attached. The chances are very slim, but maybe one of those pieces will be the singular Boardwalk piece available. cheril

in 1995 I was in Hawaii for Christmas dec29 95 I received the boardwalk game piece I had two days to find someone with parkplace but didn't when I got back to Canada a friend of mine had it but the contest was over do you know if the prize was
already won that would make me happier - adam
Sorry, I don't have a list of winners or previously claimed prizes.  However, I think that is the year that the Boardwalk piece was anonymously donated to a children's hospital. (Seriously) cheril

Hi. Really nice web site. I am looking to buy an instant win game piece for the Gateway Profile computer. Do you have any ideas that could help
me to get the word out to as many people as possible so everyone will know what I want?
Thanks, Will
Post your offer in the forums, take out an ad in the newspaper, advertise on TV (Granted after all that expense you could've just bought a computer :-)  cheril

I have been playing McDonalds Monopoly Game for many years now and here in Harrisburg we ALWAYS have Parkplace..I would like to know if you know what states usually  have Boardwalk? Thank you:) - Lenora I have no idea what states the previous players found Boardwalk in.  As there is only one collection Boardwalk available, I doubt there is any one state it is usually in. cheril

I would like to know if I can get game piece's through the mail? If so can you mail me them? - Michael You can request pieces by mail. I don't have any to send you. Skip down a couple comments for directions on how to request pieces by mail. cheril

HAVE PARK PLACE WILL SHARE PRIZE NEED BOARDWALK CONTACT ME - Moviedo  Yup, you and a gazillion other players!  LOL cheril

I have visited your McDonald's Monopoly web pages for the last couple years. Several years ago I was planning on doing a McDonalds site, but I
looked on a search engine and yours and about 2-3 others showed up. I liked yours so much I decided I will not bother making another. It's really nice.
I am interested in knowing if you have kept the results from previous years? Basically I want to know if they change from year to year? - Michael L.
The rare pieces have been the same the last 4 years. cheril

I am checking your web site regularly to see what people have won. I was just wondering if the
winners of the Prowler and the PT cruiser are American or Canadian? I was also wondering if there are 3 Cruisers, 1 Prowler etc. to be won in
each country or altogether.........Cheers!.....John
B......p.s. thanks for posting my Mcflurry wins, hopefully I will have something more substantial to report soon!!!!!
I don't know for sure, but having read the rules for both US and Canada, it appears to be all one contest. The only difference is that there is an additional prize available of $25,000 in Canada.  cheril

As unbelievable as it seems I had all three yellow
pieces. As it turns out my children have misplaced Ventor Ave. My question to you is how many
Ventor are there and is this the hard peice to acquire. - Ron H.
Better find that piece.  There is only one! cheril

YES, IT IS TRUE, I HAVE FOUND BOARDWALK. WHO WOULD HAVE THOUGHT SUCH A VALUABLE PIECE WOULD COME ON AN ORDER OF LARGE FRIES? ANYWAY, I FEEL LIKE SHARING THIS WEALTH WITH SOMEONE ELSE. IF YOU HAVE PARK PLACE, AND ARE INTERESTED, PLEASE POST A MESSAGE HERE. I AM WILLING TO
TALK TO ALL THAT ARE INTERESTED, BUT I WILL EXCEPT THE BEST OFFER I GET. LOOK FOWARD TO HEARING FROM YOU SOON. -freespace nomad  (as posted in the forum)
hmmm feeling lonely?  Needing lots of email? :-)  cheril  (If you want to talk to this guy, go to the yahoo forum)

i have boardwalk and am going to share it with someone who has park place.  i know you're all thinking, why the hell would he do that? especially
when anyone can get park place and keep all the money?  i'll tell you why  Because even though it's a million dollars, after taxes, it's not going to keep me rich for the rest of my life. however, the story of the guy who offers up 10% of the winnings to a stranger on the internet could sell for a lot of money  and what the heck, it's only about 50 grand after taxes.........  tell me why i should let you be the one, and what you would do with it also, tell me a little about yourself, so i can see if you'd be  marketable for the story.  thanks jack (as posted in the Trading Post)
Eeeeek.. another one!  LOL cheril (Don't write to me about this guy, go to the Trading Post if you wish to respond to him)

Do you have the Boardwalk game piece? I have Parkplace. I can send a scan proof photo upon
request. Lets make a deal. - Mike
Nope, I don't have Boardwalk.  No need to send me a pic of your ParkPlace, I have a stack of my own! cheril

First, thanks for the great site for the McDonald's
Monopoly game. I don't know why I never thought to look on the internet for game pieces in the past. Your hard work is much appreciated. - Mike H.
The internet is wonderful place. :-) cheril

which is the most rare? boardwalk or parkplace? - Ticia Boardwalk. There is only one collection piece available. - cheril

do you have pennsylvania ave, ventnor ave, tennessee ave, or vermont, cause those are the ones I need to win, if you have at least one of these can you PLEASE e-mail me and will talk. - Philippe Nope, nope, nope, and nope.  If I did have them, I would just visit McDonald's a couple times and get the remaining part of the set. I wouldn't need to discuss it with anyone. :-)  cheril

I would like to says that you have one great site. I have used it for the past three years. I have just never won. Thanks! - mavsman  I have been doing this site for four years and I have never won.  Maybe someday, eh?  Thank you! cheril

Do you have any idea where you might send your name and  address to receive a free game piece? I'd appreciate it if you would send me the address of where to send it to. I know they have a commercial on it, but they don't leave the  info up for too long. Thanks! - Kitty On the game board they hand out at McDonald's, it as the following information; "...3 game pieces may also be obtained without a purchase by mailing a hand-printed self addressed, stamped envelope to: Monopoly Game at McDonald's, Game Piece Request. P.O. Box 466002, Lawrenceville, GA 30042-6002. WA/VT residents may omit return postage.  Only one request per envelope, postmarked no later than 4/20/00 and received by 4/27/00, mailed separately. Do not send any game stamps, other game materials, or other correspondence to this address." - cheril

Just out of curiosity, what is the hardest game piece to get in the McDonald's Monopoly
game? I am guessing that it is Boardwalk , but i was wondering if there is an official hard to get
game piece perhaps that is made less than the other pieces...for example when there was a
game to collect caps that spelled out PEPSI it was known that there was a lesser production and distribution of one of the letters. Is there a game piece such as this? --Steph
In each collection group there is one rare piece. The number available of that rare piece is equal to the number of how many of that prize they are giving away.  Boardwalk has the highest odds against getting it (1:512,838,026) so that does seem to be the rarest piece. - cheril

let me know if you know someone I can get stamp 225 from. thanks - Stacy Sorry, I don't know anyone willing to give away, sell or trade a rare piece. - cheril

Hey, Great website!! Our kids are desperately trying to win anything from McDonald's. We see from your website and others that it's not impossible but pretty hard to do. They are crushed to see that everyone needs the same game pieces that they do. We'll be sure to let you know if we have any luck finding the rare ones!! - Dan T

thank u so muchhhhhh  -
Please post this type of requests in the forums - cheril

Hello, does that mean the cars have been won? And is there more than just one car to be giving away? Audrey B.  - It means that a few players have sent me information indicating they have won a car.  I have no way of verifying the claims. There are 6 Chrysler PT Cruisers and 2 Prowlers available. - cheril

could you send me a game piece if you can email me back....... thanks write back bye my name is robb thanks - Nope, sorry, I don't have game pieces that I send out. -cheril

I work for the inquirer so whenever there was more than 1 monoploy insert on  the paper i took the rest out. you would be surprised that some papers had 30 of these. your supposed to take extras out so i did my job. i came out with 87 game pices (174 stamps) and i didnt win anything good. besides the 13 extra  value meals, 27 chesse burgers, mountains of furby cookies, 10 breakfast
sanwhiches, and two happy meals i didnt get any rare stamps!!!! i have enough  non rare stamps to complete 5 boards (each without the winning piece). so if anybody (or yourself) would like some non rare pieces (any in specific) to TRA
DE only id be happy too! PLEASE POST THIS WHEREVER YOU POST THE MESSAGES -
IGO2yellin -
They don't put any rare collection stamps in the newspaper inserts.  Just common collection pieces, instant food winners and a single one million dollar instant win piece.  You should post your message in one of the forums I have linked at the top of this page. I am not interested in trading and I won't act as a go-between for traders.-cheril

Can you send me a Vermont Ave. piece??????? - Canes  Ummm in a word... NO! :-) -cheril

While as at a McDonalds the other day I saw a guy peel off his game pieces in the next table and I saw he had a Kentucky piece. I am not sure if you put that in your tally. Just thought it would help your tally.  - Jeff B. That is cool to know, because that is the rare stamp needed to win. However, I just don't know how I would show that winner. "The guy sitting a table over from Jeff"?  :-) -cheril

What is the hard one to get for the railroads? -
Georgina V
As in past years, it appears to be Short Line. -cheril

Hello, This is my first submission, although I've visited the site often in the  previous years. Please keep up the good work! Thanks!! - Captain A. Maybe this will be your lucky year. :-) -cheril

Oh my god!
Thanks for the heads up. We eat every Thurs at McD's, and thought it would be neat to see if such websites existed. (the kids like to muck around)  I still only have what stamps I sent you last night. But we may take up eating burgers for the next couple weeks.  Thanks again.  - Krista
Cool! Looks like Krista may have indeed won a new car.  Keep in touch and let us know when you have the full set. -cheril

What does the newspaper insert mean for the $1,000,000? Are these newspapers given to the stores? - Bill W.  In previous years, the first Sunday of the contest an insert is in the newspapers. It has been a gameboard with 2 game stickers attached. (Like the ones on the food items) One of the game pieces will be an instant winner for $1,000,000.00. The other gameboards will have a regular non-rare game piece and a food instant winner game piece. These inserts have previously been placed in both home delivered and store bought newspapers. -cheril
